HOHOBARE is the latest brainchild of Ishigaki Yoshida, premier restaurateurs who aim to spread their wings to the southern region of Japan, Okinawa. Our team executed a complete package, creating a brand and a website that are coherent with the branding.
The creators of Ishigaki Yoshida, premier restaurateurs that uphold the theme of "The new era of Teppanyaki" is expanding to the south of Japan, the tropical, star-gazing islands of Okinawa. We helped craft their latest ventures from scratch; Hohobare and Amahare - a premium Wagyu Steak and Shark's Fin Ramen establishment and a Member’s Only Champagne Bar. Our mission was to work closely with the client to develop a striking visual identity and a fully designed and optimized website.
We executed a complete package, creating a brand as well as a website that are coherent with the branding. The underlying concept behind Hohobare and Amahare is “yin and yang” where two entities exist as inseparable and juxtaposing opposites. Hohobare represents the light counterpart, and together with Amahare they form an entity that complements one another.
The brand philosophy behind Hohobare is to provide smiles to everyone faces out of the joy their food brings.
The visual identities for both Hohobare and Amahare exceeded the clients’ expectations. The brand identity we crafted was able to blend seamlessly with the interior as well as ambiance of the establishment. Hohobare and Amahare’s grand opening received great reception, immediately securing its spot amongst the heart of locals in the island.
